The Mindfuse glossary

From Daily Fuse to Founding Member

Mindfuse

Mindfuse is a voice-only app for iOS and Android that connects you one-to-one with a real person anywhere in the world, with no profile and no photos.

Its line is "Hear the person, not the profile."

Daily Fuse

The Daily Fuse is the moment every day at 17:00 UTC when people all over the world open Mindfuse together.

It is the busiest half hour of the day and the easiest time to be connected. The app counts down to it.

Weave

A Weave is the artwork Mindfuse makes from a conversation: after every conversation of a minute or more, you get one.

It is made from the shape of the moment, such as the rhythm of your two voices, the silences and the hour for each of you, never from what was said, because calls are not recorded. Without Premium it is the standard Weave: two threads of light twisted into one rope. You can keep it, hang it in Your World or share it.

1 of 1 Weave

A 1 of 1 Weave is a Premium Weave: a unique artwork in one of the Premium styles, composed from that one conversation, that no other Weave will ever repeat.

With Premium, every conversation becomes a 1 of 1. Your very first Weave, your First Light, is a 1 of 1 for everyone. Weaves you already have stay exactly as they were made.

Premium styles

The Premium styles are the five art styles a new 1 of 1 Weave can be drawn in: Totality, Nocturne, The Thread, Contour and Herbarium.

You do not choose the style: each 1 of 1 gets its style from the conversation itself when it is made.

Woven World

The Woven World is the living globe in Mindfuse that every conversation on the app becomes part of.

Each time you talk to someone, you add a thread of light to it, together with people from every corner of the globe.

Your World

Your World is your own part of the Woven World: each conversation you have had appears as a thread of light, across the time zones you have talked with.

Premium

Premium is the Mindfuse subscription for unlimited conversations and a 1 of 1 Weave from every conversation, priced per country and shown in the app.

Without Premium, every account still gets its first two weeks free and unlimited, then 3 free conversations every week. You can cancel anytime.

Founding Member

A Founding Member has Premium for life, bought with one payment.

Their Weaves carry a gold Founding trait. There are only 1,000 Founding Member spots, available in the app.
